#SETACToronto Pup Rally
2:00 p.m.–5:35 p.m. | SETAC Square in the Exhibit Hall
At the end of the meeting, when your head is about to burst from all the science, we are bringing something unique to this year’s event to “pup” you up and get you through the last day.
We have teamed up with Tourism Toronto, the host of next year’s meeting, to invite some furry friends from Yolo County Eyes for Others for a a two-paws up, win-win situation for everybody involved: You get to meet some awesome dogs, the dogs get some love, and hopefully together we can make a difference by collectively donating items for animals in need at the Front Street Animal Shelter.
Dogs visiting the SETAC Square will be therapy dogs and retired guide dogs, including a pet ambassador for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
A Tourism Toronto representative will also be available to answer any questions or tell you about our amazing next host city.
So trot on over [stride, pounce, hop, prance] to the exhibit hall on the last day of the meeting, and meet some adorable dogs. Please consider bringing an item to support these puppies and other animals at the shelter with a small donation:
- Dog and cat food
- Dog and cat toys
- Unscented baby wipes
- Heating pads
- Puppy and kitten replacement milk
- Gas cards
- PetMate two-door carriers
- Foster care supplies such as collars, leashes or dog beds
Donations can be dropped off all week at the registration desk.
Thank you to Tourism Toronto for supporting this bark-worthy event. We are looking forward to #SETACToronto in 2019!
